Shine Bright Studios LLC is a musical theatre company where children ages 5-18 are encouraged to step out of their shells and shine in an encouraging, fun environment! We cater towards their strengths and strive to cultivate their talents as they find joy in acting, singing, and dancing. They cultivate confidence, friendships, and life-long memories as they perform on stage!
Ages 10-18 Rehearse Thursdays 6-8pm to produce a full-length musical production in May.
We also produce a musical showcase in early December. Our next season runs from September 7th through our productions and cast dinner party in early May.
We will not meet during Christmas vacation. We will have mandatory dress rehearsals on Tues/Wed/Thurs the week of the productions. The additional rehearsal days make up for the missed Thursdays during Christmas break, and the last 2 weeks of the school year.
During rehearsals participants learn music, practice choreography, develop characters, and act out scenes in preparation for their performance. They receive instruction regarding acting techniques such as projection, diction, movement, character, emotions, and expression, as well as vocal training in regards to tone, breathing, expanding range, etc. We encourage each other to try new things, share talents, and perform with confidence!
Junior Musical Theatre school-year program Thursdays 5-5:45 for ages 5-10
The structure of this program is the same, but with the fall showcase and another small performance in May, rather than a full-length musical.
OUR MISSION at Shine Bright Studios is for children to gain confidence, friendships, and life-skills as they let their light shine on stage!
Try-outs: All programs are open-entry. There will not be any formal "auditions,” although an introduction/casting afternoon will take place before each season.
EVERYONE will have a part (or multiple parts) to perform!
EVERYONE will get to SHINE BRIGHT!!!
Tuition: $125/month, September through May. Automatic Payments are set up as a part of registration.
Junior tuition: $65/month
Tuition includes all weekly instruction/rehearsals, costumes, props, show materials, a Shine Bright Studios drawstring backpack, and our traditional performance day cast dinner and cast party.
There is a one-time registration fee of $50 for the year, which will help cover costume costs.
